The Feldenkrais method is a learning process based on awareness of one’s own body, Tai chi and the couple techniques of Tui Shou are focusing on weight shifting and strengthening the centre of gravity.
Both methods are aimed at improving the precision, coordination and posture of movements. By incorporating this two methods, we will embark together on a journey of attention, to learn, gain knowledge, experience, new skills, accumulate information and competences that we will integrate in our dance.
Touch will be a fundamental element of our research, we will investigate our contact with the floor, our relationship with gravity and our communication with the other; all essential aspects that focus on our ability to adapt and act as effectively as possible in the moment.
We will explore solo, duet and group dance scores in a respectful and playful environment.
